Internet Speed Test

Last Updated: April 06, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Cent Studio Global (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application, Internet Speed Test - Wifi Speed.

1. Information Collection and Use

To provide the core features of this utility, the app requires access to certain device data. We prioritize local processing—meaning most data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Network & WiFi Data: To perform Internet Speed Tests and display WiFi Details, the app identifies your connection type (4G/LTE/WiFi), signal strength, and network SSID.

Location Data: Android requires “Fine” or “Coarse” location permission to scan for nearby WiFi networks. This permission is used strictly for WiFi analysis functionality.

We do not collect, store, or share your precise location. Location data is never used to track your physical movement or build a user profile.

Device & SIM Status: Access to SIM Info and Battery Info allows the app to display technical hardware specifications and power levels.

Data Usage Tracking: The app monitors the volume of data sent/received to help you track your limits. This data is calculated locally on the device.

Data Sharing: We may share certain information with third-party services such as analytics and advertising partners (e.g., Firebase, AdMob). These services may collect device identifiers, usage data, and approximate location to provide their services in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Usage Access Data: The app may request Usage Access permission to calculate app-level data usage statistics. This information is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party tools to help optimize app performance and support development:

Analytics (e.g., Firebase): To understand app crashes and improve stability.

Advertising (e.g., AdMob): To show relevant ads. These providers may use an anonymized Advertising ID to provide non-personalized or personalized ads based on your device settings. Advertising partners may use your device’s Advertising ID to show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent and device settings. Third-party SDKs integrated into the app (such as Firebase Analytics and AdMob) may automatically collect certain information, including device identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics information. This data is used to improve app performance, stability, and advertising experience, in accordance with the respective third-party privacy policies.

3. Permissions Summary

You may be prompted to grant the following permissions for the app to function:

Location: For WiFi scanning.

Phone State: For SIM and carrier details.

Usage Access: Specifically for the Data Usage feature.

4. User Control & Choices

Users have full control over the permissions granted to the app. You can enable or disable permissions such as Location, Phone State, or Usage Access at any time through your device settings.

You may also reset or limit your device’s Advertising ID via your device settings to control personalized advertising.

5. Data Retention & Security

We do not store personal data on our servers. Speed test results and battery logs are temporary. Any history stored (such as previous speed tests) is saved locally and is removed if you clear the app data or uninstall the application.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

7- Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Developer Note:

When filling out your Data Safety Form in the Google Play Console, ensure you mark “Location” and “Device or other IDs” as “Collected” if you are using AdMob or Firebase Analytics, as Google considers the transmission of these IDs to third-party SDKs as data collection.
